anyways, enough of that.
Whit and I have taken up jogging. Which means that the game is afoot. I’m actually getting serious about this now, I’ve decided I’m not going back to school, I’m going to join the RCMP. What that means is that I have roughly two years to get into shape before I can take the tests (two years because I need a full G license, something I’m woefully lacking) So I’m going to start in on that right away. That, and I’d like to be in shape for the big airsoft game at pine plains next year. So we’re eating better, exercising more, and generally being more healthy. It’ll be tough, but worth it in the end.
I find with myself though, that the general problem isn’t eating; I can eat as much or as little as I want, and I stay around the same mark, healthy food or unhealthy. I think what’s going to make the real difference for me is proper exercise, and for that I’m either going to need to get into a gym or get the equipment for at home; but that raises two new sets of problems. For the gym: my current work schedule between two jobs doesn’t allow for a lot of flexibility, I’m working a few nights a week, and that can be subject to change. What I’ve realized is that I’m going to need something stable to allow me to work out at night, and to allow for time to cook, since NOT cooking is really have the cause of my current situation. Not to mention the fact that I don’t really feel like working two minimum wage jobs for two years. That’s pretty lame. As for the second problem, well that just requires space and money, and we’ll have more space soon enough (We’re in our new place in august) and for money; well, used exercise equipment tends to be pretty cheap, so I’m good there I think.
But yeah, so, long term goal now.
